Frequently asked questions

This very much depends on the size of magazine you have chosen, how much time it takes you to prepare your magazine (finding images/writing text etc), how many subsequent changes you make etc. Once you email your requested updates, we turn around the revised magazine very quickly and will liaise with you closely to ensure your deadlines are met.

How do I pay?

Once you have signed off your magazine and advised how many copies you wish us to print we will send you an online Paypal invoice. You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to make payment and can pay by debit or credit card as well.

As soon as we receive the automated notification that payment has been actioned, we will instruct our printers to proceed with the printing (or send the ‘download only’ PDF for printing at home).

When will I get my order?

A typical order printed by us takes less than three working days to print and post. However we recommend you allow 7 working days. Please email us at support@bluefriesian.com if you need to highlight that your order is urgent and we will do our best to hurry things along. If you have chosen the ‘download-only version’ for a personalised covers/single page you can of course print them at your convenience.

How will my creation be printed?

Our spoof magazines are printed on state-of-the-art, modern digital presses using high quality cards and papers. The covers/single pages are printed on slightly heavier paper, making them ideal for framing. The 8 and 12 page magazines are printed on slightly thinner paper (thicker than normal magazines for longevity) and are folded and stapled.

How many copies do I need to order?

Because we use digital printers we can offer very low order volumes. The minimum order we accept is a single copy but of course the more copies you order, the better value your order becomes. If you choose to buy the download-only version you will be able to print as many copies as you like - either at home or via a printer of your choice (see note above regarding Crop and Bleeds).

Can you deliver to addresses outside the UK?

We can deliver to addresses around the globe but there will be a small additional charge and of course a greater turnaround time if we are posting your creation. Please contact us at support@bluefriesian.com for more information and pricing. Remember you can also purchase a download-only PDF for printing at home or at local printers.

In the event that our magazines/covers are arrive in a damaged or defective condition you may return them to us within 14 days of receipt. We will provide a full refund of the price you paid inclusive of the return postage. If you return any products that we are able to prove were not faulty when they were delivered, we reserve the right to send them back to you and claim the cost of the return postage from you. 

We will notify you of the progress of your return/refund via email. We will make the refund using the same payment method used for your purchase and within 30 days of our notification that the refund is to be made.
